Fern Beauty Oil Lamp......Marianne Barnes
Masking and using Alcohol inks are the major techniques taught with this gourd.We will be using a cannonball gourd ( gourd in picture is a bowl and is used to show style, class will be cannonball )and applying fern shapes on the gourd. Alcohol inks will be used to create the color. Sand will be added for weight so the gourd will stand straight. This is a sweet little gourd to give as a gift or to sit on your shelf or table. We will add a metal lip in the hole opening at the top and insert a glass oil lamp. You can actually use lamp oil to create a candle. Raffia and a decoration will be added.
Teacher provides gourd, glass inserts, metal lip, alcohol inks ,sand, daubers, and decorations.
Students need to bring apron, gloves, hair dryer or heat gun if you have one. ( teacher will bring several )

Spooky Spirits........Kristie Hull----CANCELED
This is a fun and spooky cemetery in a gourd. You will learn how to make the floor of the cemetery level and add a tree, make tombstones, and make a fence and a light will be provided. The focus is the inside of the gourd. Instructor supplies everything.Students bring scissors.

Mini Gnomes.......Tina Handrop
Students will have fun creating 2 whimsical Gnomes with quikwood; they may choose to create festive holiday gnomes or lil friends to display everyday. Gomes can be created as an ornament or freestanding deco. If time permits, students will also paint their Gnomes❤️
Students only need to bring an apron and creative spirit; Instructor will provide all supplies for this class. Students should have time to finish creating two gnomes in class, painting maybe not.
